Whoever thought Dark Brandon was a good idea as the theme for this speech was a moron. That stage could have been ripped from pretty much any dystopian movie set, and even from a few historical figures in world history.
He claimed that maga republicans are a threat, and here are a couple examples he used – completely ignoring that traditionally democrats are the ones claiming the election was stolen. I mean Stacy Abrams is still claiming her election was stolen – even though she lost the state of GA by over 50k votes. Hillary (and many others) all claimed Trump was an illegitimate President – Clinton is still claiming it.
Oh yeah and the BS about rule of law. Even his VP choice was on the bandwagon of defund the police and helping get violent rioters out of jail faster and easier. Let’s also not forget the peaceful riots of 2020 – right up through the blatant crime still happening today.
Biden has been called to the carpet for exceeding his authority – so much for rule of law in the executive branch. His most recent power grab is the loan forgiveness. That power is reserved for the legislative branch (aka congress) – not the executive branch. Congress could do it with a law, but the President does not have the authority to unilaterally cancel debt – especially to only a specific segment of the population. People seem to forget that almost all of the student debt problem can be placed squarely on Obama’s shoulders, or does anyone not remember how he took government out of the student loan process in favor of commercial bank interests?
Maxine Waters claimed both – trump was illegitimate, and that people should be in the streets and be “more confrontational”.
Biden’s speech vacillated between Mussolini to Stalin to Mao with the primary theme being if you disagree with me you are an enemy of the state.
